Over a Month -- yikes

It's been too long - I'll be working on that for the future. I will say that I get delayed from posting as I copyright all images now. So there is a 3-4 month delay after the photo is taken before I have a group to register etc. And after the image is registered, then I can post. Ugh --- I know... but that's the process. Ok -- onward.

This image was taken with the newly repaired Rollei 6008i on Ilford Delta 400. Home processed and scanned - and the scan is excellent. The negative processed very flat and as always the flatter the better during the scan.

I really like this image and may print it 24"x24".

No crop.

Here's a grab shot with the pocketed Nikon P330 - in black and white mode. It's a great photo when the light and situation matches the consumer gear really well. I love this photo and the what camera captured. As with all of my images - no crop.

Shot on the F100 with film which did funny things during development. I have a feeling it was mis labeled as it sure looks like 3200 to me. Self development results are sometimes very surprising.

the Bulldogs

Shot in April on the Rollei 6008i before I sent it in for repair. It arrives home on Wednesday; I can't wait -- but I digress. These two dogs are sisters -- Lola and Penelope. We have the Lola and she's a barrel of fun, and Penelope is with my sister in-law.

Developed and scanned in-house.

The non-interesting becomes interesting.

This is from my Rollei 6008i - a mid 1990's medium format 120 film camera. I love it and this image shows what it rendered. I recognized the great window light and the scene of the recently washed dishes. I know right -- but, for me at least, the captured image I cannot stop looking at. The grays, blacks, and whites have perfect tones - and the film does it all justice.

Home developed and scanned on a Nikon LS-8000.

the Harmon's grocery

Across from the Harmon's grocery is my second bus stop. I've become obsessed with this roof line which is of the Harmon's. I've shot it multiple times - and this time is no different.

Back Alley

I take the camera with me everywhere. And it's nice my Wife is understanding and keeps a good attitude as it usually means an extra piece of luggage or bag I have to carry. This day was like no other - I had the camera, and as I drove into the parking garage to the UPS Store - this appeared.

The bridge

I’m back on 120 film with this image. Shot in December at the University of Utah bridge. I didn’t take notes of what I shot it with but I would bet it was the Yashicamat 124G.

Only recently have I had the battery re-built on the Rollei 6008 - so I’ll be posting what I’ve shot with that much more in the future. That Rollei is a gem now !

Yellowstone NP

Yellowstone National Park - Old Faithful Inn.

A wonderful place and magical where the facility has been updated to todays standards but visually kept to look original. Shot on Ilfords Delta 400 with a Rolliflex 6008i. Ilford's Delta is a wonderful film stock which has a resolution much crisper than their HP5.

Shot on a Rollei 6008i, mid Summer of 2015 with Ilford Delta 400 - early morning to capture the dramatic angle of the sun. Home developed and home scanned with a Nikon LS-8000.

There is a lot going on in this scene - and I'm happy with it's outcome.

This was an unpredictable roll -- some frames just didn't turn out well. The advantage of the hybrid / digital workflow offers powerful corrective actions in post. I have no idea how that was completed to satisfaction back in the day.
